Reaching out and growing together in God's love
The Friend's of St Paul's was formed in 2011 to encourage the goodwill and involvement of the local and wider community and to provide a venue for groups to meet. Funding has been raised through the hiring of the church and a variety of activities and events, to enable ongoing repairs to the fabric of the church to be carried out. Such events have included cream teas during the summer, games nights, a book sale and an illustrated talk on local history.
Money raised from these social events has enabled the church to be carpeted, chairs, tables, and hymn books and to be purchased, which have helped St Paul's to provide a welcoming venue for groups to meet.
