2020 marks a special year,the 150th Anniversary of St Paul's Church. A number of events will take place throughout the year.

Christmas Tree Festival

The celebrations for the 150th Anniversary of St Paul's began in Advent with a Christmas Tree Festival. The Festival was officially opened by Mrs Judith Blackburn at a cheese and wine event for parishioners, exhibitors, friends and  parents of the choir of Edisford School which entertained a packed church with carols and songs.

Over the weekend it was a pleasure to welcome more than 300 visitors who came in to church to look at the 35 Christmas trees decorated by local organisations, schools and businesses. There were also various craft stalls, raffles and a tombola and refreshments were available throughout the weekend. The event closed on Sunday afternoon with a carol service enjoyed by a packed church.
